Matsui Swivel

I’m a seasoned hairdresser who’s used to working with high-end offset scissors, so when my favourite pair was accidentally dropped and ruined, I was honestly dreading finding a replacement—especially on a smaller budget. After loads of research, I decided to try these swivel scissors in my usual size.

I’ll admit, when I first picked them up, they made me feel like a junior again! The movement felt so different, and I wasn’t sure they’d suit me. But after persevering for about a week, they started to feel really comfortable, and now I actually love them. I’ll probably get the longer blade next time for certain haircuts, but these have quickly earned a permanent place in my kit.

The biggest difference I’ve noticed is the total absence of tension and pain in my thumb and wrist — that alone makes these worth every penny. Absolute game changer!

I LOOOVE them. This is my first time purchasing swivel shears, and they did not disappoint! Love the case and oil they provide that comes out kind of like a cuticle oil so its super easy to use on all your tools that need oil!!! And its refillable! Overall, great shears. Might end up getting a few more pairs.

These scissors are fantastic easy to work with the swivel scissors allows you to work freely without having to bend your wrist in unnatural positions causing less strain on your wrist and avoiding carpel tunnel as we age working in the hair salon you have to take this all into account your feet your back, shoulders sounds a joy right!

I wish I went for a swivel scissor along time ago it truly changing the way of cutting. There sharp to the point cut effortlessly.
